Life has a unique way of sending us the teachers we need most—and mine arrived on four soft paws.

After tremendous loss turned my world upside down, I was learning to stand on new ground. That's when she found me. My sweet cat, Posie, with her gentle presence and unhurried grace, became my steady heartbeat in a season of uncertainty.

She taught me that self-love isn’t a destination—it’s the comforting morning ritual, the deep breath before bed, the pages filled with messy thoughts and beautiful dreams. It’s showing up for yourself, especially on challenging days, even when all you can offer is a quiet promise: “I am safe with me.” But most importantly, it’s respecting your personal boundaries and being selective about who deserves to be let in. 💛

Inspired by her quiet wisdom (and her insistence on napping in sunbeams), I created this space for kindred spirits who know what it means to rebuild.
